Golden Donuts in Columbus

The donuts had tooo much glaze on them looked like they rushed these or had problem at store

I've had a plethora of fancy gourmet donuts but I always come back to my hot-n-ready Golden Donuts dozen glazed. They melt in your mouth as if you inhaled them. Mmmm Mmmm good!!!

They only had the drive through open. The donuts were amazing.

Decent Donuts at a okay price for a dozen. Donut quality has been hit or miss this pass year. Sometimes the donuts have very little favor or fillings and just are soaked in the white sugar glaze. Sometimes they have less glaze so you can actually taste the favor of the donut, which is what my family like. Some of the ordering people are not very nice and rather rude.

This is literally the only donut shop, like, ever. The donuts are amazing, and the staff are very nice. A dozen regular glazed donuts are less than $8, but could be worth there weight in gold they are so good! You gotta come here!

Great donuts and friendly, fast service. Don't leave without buying an "ugly" which is too good for an accurate description--think of it as a honey bun/fritter hybrid featuring soft, delicious goodness. Another plus, it is open late for those late evening cravings.

Do not eat at this nasty place. I know someone who works at this facility and they showed me pictures on how disgusting this place is. Eat at your own risk. I'm sticking with Krispy Kreme

A must visit in Columbus, this is the spot for fresh glazed and chocolate iced donuts. We found it accidentally while heading to Popeyes and couldn't resist trying it out. To keep peace in your home get at least a dozen. We love em! 🤗

The employees are awesome and the donuts are the best. I ask for an off menu donut and they made it no problem. I'm giving 4 stars only because the parking lot can be congested at times but the employees try their best to keep the traffic flowing.

My grown children talk about this place like it is a beautiful childhood dream! Yet we have only lived here a few years, and I had never been there until about a month ago. The service was excellent and there was no wait. It appeared to be clean and everything looked fresh and tidy. Even though there are new, closer places to get donuts, my children still rave about Golden Donuts!

Extremely good customer service and the Doughnuts were hot and coffee was fresh, I will be revisiting soon

This is my favorite donut place. The employees were outside taking orders trying to speed things along. Donuts were not and fresh.

Oh my, the best donuts I've ever had... and they ( yes, 3) just killed my diet. It's also 7 pm, and it was hot and fresh!!!

This review is not about the donuts but about the image of the business. We pulled up and one of the employees (a heavy set, brunette woman) was sitting right out front smoking a cigarette. While I don't like cigarette smoke, judging a smoker isn't my intention (I smoked years ago). However, I think that it's pretty unprofessional to have an employee that handles food to sit right at the entrance, smoking while still wearing the hairnet that she'll be wearing while handling the food.

LOVE the donuts! Some older employees could be a bit nicer when asked a simple question.

Have enjoyed their Donuts for many years. Became a regular at Golden Donuts when they were on Macon Road back in the late 80's early 90's.

I only had the glazed donut, but man was it incredible! Great, light texture, and the glaze was sweet without being overwhelming. They have an incredible selection of donuts. Cannot wait to go again!

They Used To Be Really Good Back In The Day, Now The Donuts Don't Even Be Hot When They Sell Them. And The Hot Sign Be On. False Advertisement.

Your customers cars are blocking the entrance to the retail center. Please do something about cars overflowing into the road. Maybe a sign that says pull up as far as possible: don't block the entrance.

I was a regular at this place. They definitely have the best glazed donuts in the city. However, on my most recent trip for an Apple Fritter, I found the fritter to be dry and it had hair in it.

The BEST donuts around hands down. They’re always fresh and you can get their glazed donuts warm right off the line. The staff is always very friendly and my kids have been given free donuts several times without even asking.

They have started to make the donuts smaller. The taste is still good though. The options for different donuts need to be improved.

Wow!! I had a plain glazed donut. It was served warm and it melted in my mouth. I think it's the best donut I've ever tasted!!! This was my first visit to Golden Donuts. There were several cars in drive -thru so we decided to go inside and eat at the counter. The staff was friendly, and quickly brought our order. The decor is very dated. The restroom soap dispenser had fallen off the wall. I understand why drive thru is popular! BUT the donut was outstanding!!! Next time I drive thru Columbus you can bet I'll stop by Golden Donuts.

Hot sign flashing I'm pulling in. They're so soft and better than almost anything I have ever had. The Donuts are melt in your mouth delicious period.

Don't think I will be back until the quality of the donuts return to the way it was before... Especially with such high prices now. New employees do not know how to make the glaze.. It leaves them tasting like pure powdered sugar, & there are always bits of black pieces under the glaze (not sure what that could be.) I've been going almost every week since I was a child, & these donuts are nothing like how Golden used to be.

I understand there busy.. But when i sit in line and it still takes the lady 5 min to get to the window after i finally make it there and i can see her looking at me...just overall bad slow service. But great food

Went to pick up some donuts for a friend. Friendly service and yummy donuts. The wait time wasn't bad either.

I really did not enjoy this place. We went in on Sunday morning and the variety was lacking. The donuts were not fresh and they only had a few options to choose from. For the price, I felt like I should have gotten a better donut. It tasted fine, but I'd choose Krispy Kreme over this place any day. Not worth the trip IMO
